U-Tribe Festival: Australia’s Healing, Music and Consciousness Festival
Festival Vision:
U-Tribe’s aspirations are to create an inspired and high quality event where Australian and International patrons can participate in self healing, consciousness raising and celebration of culture, art and community.
The festival is designed to create a platform for local youth and other interested parties to be mentored in performance, production and event coordination as well as delivering a showcase of cutting edge local, national and international musician’s healers and artists. By combining music, performance and healing under one program we aim to achieve a unified sense of healing through art as well as art as a universal language.
AIM
To create a deeper sense of connectedness both culturally and creatively by providing a unique experience that joins the festival and community.
U-Tribe is to be staged 100Kms north of Brisbane over the 25th, 26th and 27th of September, with the usual bright sunny days and beautiful setting, festival goers can expect a wonderful weekend of Music, Circus, Dance, Healing seminars, Workshops in all of the above, Ceremony and Celebration. The Festival will provide 5 Venues for music, performance, multiple health and healing venues, Children’s Festival, Chai tent, food stalls, arts stalls, camping and parking
Mission
- To establish a progressive arts and healing festival of International standing that will promote quality of life and build awareness of self sustainability and community empowerment through personal wellbeing.
- To attract abundant and diverse audiences by offering a unique and exciting program that will incorporate high profile Artists and Presenters that ordinarily wouldn’t come to the area
- To connect the Alternative Health and Creative industries so as to increase opportunities between two simpatico but quite separate markets
- To mentor and empower youth by providing positive roll models that are both respected by and inspirational to the younger population.
- To conduct surveys to ascertain the wants and needs of local and wider community as well as the youth sector
Why This Festival is needed
We live in an ongoing changing world where community has a lot of different faces. ie- young, senior citizen, suburbon, alternative and country. We hope through our ecosustainable workshops and our healing workshops combined with the array of music, not only local, indigenous and national musicians but also musicians from around the world
